About me
I am a postdoctoral researcher at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, and a member of the Chalmers Initiative on Cosmic Origins (CICO). My research focuses on star formation and feedback, especially in extreme environments.
In 2018, I completed a PhD in Astronomy at the University of St Andrews, UK. My keen interest in maths and programming alongside astronomy led me to work on a computational project combining hydrodynamics and radiative transfer codes in order to study ionising stellar feedback. Afterwards, I was a postdoc at Heidelberg University, Germany, until 2022, where I worked with simulations of gas clouds in the Central Molecular Zone (CMZ). I studied their structure and kinematics in comparison to observations, in order to pinpoint the physical processes that form and shape them.
My CMZ work has contributed towards the acceptance of the successfully completed ALMA CMZ Exploration Survey (ACES; PI: S. Longmore), where I currently co-lead the work package focusing on developing a suite of numerical simulations to complement the ALMA data.
